SPIRULINA ICED MATCHA LATTE

SPIRULINA ICED MATCHA WITH CREAMY HONEY CASHEW MILK

We’re doubling down on antioxidants from both matcha and spirulina with this beautiful and subtly sweet latte!

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp matcha powder I used @piquelife – discount in my bio
  • 2 oz water
  • 1/2 tsp blue spirulina powder I used @kos
  • 1/2 cup cashew milk divided
  • Cashew Milk:
  • 1.5 cups soaked raw cashews soaked at least 4 hours or up to overnight
  • 7 cups water
  • 1/4 cup coconut cream
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  • Add your raw cashews to an airtight container and cover with water
  • Soak overnight or for at least 4 hours
  • Strain your cashews and rinse until the water runs clear
  • Add all of your ingredients to a high speed blender (like a @vitamix) and blend for 2 minutes until frothy
  • Store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to a week
  • To make your latte:
  • Whisk together your match and water
  • Whisk together 1/4 cup cashew milk and spirulina
  • Pour your matcha over ice
  • Add 1/4 cup of cashew milk
  • Top with spirulina mixture
  • ENJOY!
