SPIRULINA ICED MATCHA LATTE
SPIRULINA ICED MATCHA WITH CREAMY HONEY CASHEW MILK
We’re doubling down on antioxidants from both matcha and spirulina with this beautiful and subtly sweet latte!
Ingredients
- 1 tsp matcha powder I used @piquelife – discount in my bio
- 2 oz water
- 1/2 tsp blue spirulina powder I used @kos
- 1/2 cup cashew milk divided
- Cashew Milk:
- 1.5 cups soaked raw cashews soaked at least 4 hours or up to overnight
- 7 cups water
- 1/4 cup coconut cream
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp sea salt
Instructions
- Add your raw cashews to an airtight container and cover with water
- Soak overnight or for at least 4 hours
- Strain your cashews and rinse until the water runs clear
- Add all of your ingredients to a high speed blender (like a @vitamix) and blend for 2 minutes until frothy
- Store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to a week
- To make your latte:
- Whisk together your match and water
- Whisk together 1/4 cup cashew milk and spirulina
- Pour your matcha over ice
- Add 1/4 cup of cashew milk
- Top with spirulina mixture
- ENJOY!
