Apple Crisp

Finally making use of our gravenstein apples! When it comes to baked goods I’m about 50/50 on whether I try to healthily them or just got with traditional recipes 🤷🏼‍♀️ This one is not exactly hEaLtHy but it is delicious!!🍏

Ingredients (for a small crisp):
Apple filling:
– 6 apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
– 1/2 tbsp flour
– 3/4 cup sugar
– 2 tsp cinnamon

Crisp topping:
– 1/2 cup quick oats
– 1/2 cup flour
– 1/2 cup brown sugar
– 1/8 tsp baking powder
– 1/8 tsp baking soda
– 1/4 cup melted butter

Combine all filling ingredients and allow to sit for 20 minutes. Once the apples are nice and juicy, add to a baking dish (including the juices). Combine all topping ingredients and scatter on top of the filling. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Enjoy fresh or allow it to sit for a day, which is my preference 😜
