Salsa verde is my favorite type of salsa!💚 I’ve been buying one from Trader Joe’s for years and knew it was time to make some of my own. So easy and delightfully fresh.

Ingredients:
– 8 tomatillos
– 2 cloves garlic
– 1/4 cup diced white onion
– 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
– 1 serrano pepper (seeds removed for less spice) *I forgot to film adding this 🤦🏼‍♀️
– juice of 1.5 limes
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– 1 tsp salt
– a few cracks of black pepper

Directions:
Remove the crusty outer shell of the tomatillos and rinse the stickiness away. Place on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Wrap garlic in foil and place on baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes at 425. While the tomatillos and garlic are baking, diced your onion and serrano and chop your cilantro. Add all ingredients to a food processor and process until almost smooth. Serve!🌿🫑
