Made with just six ingredients, this chocolate protein pudding is creamy, indulgent, and packed with protein thanks to our secret ingredient: silken tofu.

Protein is having its moment of fame, but I don’t think everything needs to be labeled “high protein”, especially dessert.
That said, this High Protein Chocolate Pudding is the best of both worlds: rich, indulgent, and packed with 10 grams of protein per serving thanks to a secret plant-based ingredient.
The star? Silken tofu. I know I know, but don’t knock it ’til you try it! It blends into an ultra-smooth, creamy pudding that’s ready in less than 5 minutes when combined with melted chocolate chips, maple syrup, vanilla, and a scoop of chocolate protein powder.
It’s satisfying, delicious, and couldn’t be easier. Enjoy!
Key Ingredients for High Protein Chocolate Pudding
All you need are a handful of ingredients and a high-speed blender to whip up your own good-for-you, high-protein pudding recipe.

- Dairy-Free Chocolate Chips: @hukitchen and @enjoyjustdate are two of my go-to favorite brands for dairy-free chocolate.
- Silken Tofu: This plant-based protein source becomes super creamy and almost custard-like when blended.
- Maple Syrup: This sweetens the recipe, turning it into a true dessert.

Pin It- Chocolate Protein Powder: Feel free to use your favorite brand of protein powder. @ritual and @equipfoods both make a great chocolate protein powder.
- Vanilla Extract: Just a touch to amplify the sweetness.
- Toppings: You could serve this as is, or even eat it straight from the blender (!), but for a presentable touch, I like to add a bit of coconut cream, a few fresh raspberries and a pinch of salt.

How to Make High Protein Chocolate Pudding
To start, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 45-second increments, stirring between, until fully melted.
Next, add the silken tofu, maple syrup, protein powder, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the blender and blend on medium, scraping down the sides as needed, until smooth.
Scoop the pudding into your serving dishes and top with coconut cream, raspberries, and a pinch of flaky salt. Serve and enjoy!
