Stuffed dates are a fun snack or sweet treat to enjoy any time of day. They come together in a matter of minutes and make for a great homemade gift as well.

My husband Kyle and I have visited London for the past two years over Christmas. As much as we love checking out top restaurants, we absolutely love the Food Hall and Chocolate Room at Harrod’s!
During this visit, I picked up a few stuffed dates from the Chocolate Room — a salted caramel, pistachio cream, peanut butter stuffed date, and a dairy-free dark chocolate!
They were the absolute best finisher and got me thinking about all the varieties that I could make at home.
Stuffed dates are a quick and easy snack or dessert, and also a fun project to make with kids!

For Valentine’s Day, I gifted a box of 12 stuffed dates to friends as a cute homemade “chocolate” box.
Below, I’ve shared 10 of my all-time favorite stuffed date recipes, but I’d love to hear about your favorite flavor combos too! Let me know your favorite over on Instagram or comment on my London at Christmas Vlog. Enjoy!
What To Stuff Dates With
The possibilities are endless with stuffed dates! When I was in London, we saw dozens upon dozens of different flavors! Here are some of my top-choice fillings for making the most delicious stuffed dates at home.

- Chocolate ganache (see recipe in Notes below)
- Freeze-dried strawberries
- Peanut butter
- Coconut butter
- Dairy-free vanilla frosting
- Pistachio butter
- Cashew butter
- Almond butter
- Chocolate hazelnut spread
As for the date itself, my favorite are @naturesanthem which I found at @central_market — they are so juicy! Definitely grab a box if you find them in your local grocery store!

Using a sharp knife, carefully make a slit into the date lengthwise. Remove the pit and pull back the two sides of the date.
Using a spoon, spoon the filling into the date and smooth. Finish with toppings and drizzles of choice. Save for later or enjoy immediately!

Stuffed dates can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 10 days. They can also be frozen, although I prefer to eat them fresh.
To make these giftable, place each stuffed date in a mini muffin liner. Add to a cardboard bakery treat box. Tie with ribbon and gift away!
