This round-up is basically all of my favorite football foods in one place and everything is gluten-free and dairy-free!
We’re talking buffalo wings, cashew queso, chili, tacos, drumsticks, dips, and plenty of snacky things… which, let’s be honest, are the best part of football season anyway.
I love a game day spread that has a little bit of everything. Something cheesy to dip into, something crispy, and something saucy.
Plus, of course, the main food groups of chicken, potatoes and chips, and tacos are all covered here.
Basically, finger food that’s easy to share, easy to snack on, and still so good that no one is thinking about the fact that it happens to be gluten-free and dairy-free.
GLUTEN-FREE FOOTBALL RECIPES FOR GAME DAY
Listed below, you’ll find appetizers and finger food first, then the bigger mains like your classic chili, crispy baked tacos, oven baked ribs, and sandwiches.
Let me know in the comments which ones make it onto your game day spread! Cheers!
CRISPY GLUTEN-FREE BAKED BUFFALO CHICKEN WINGS

Kyle’s Super Bowl claim to fame: wings baked on a wire rack so they crisp up on every side, no fryer and no dairy in sight. Spicy, salty, tangy, and always the first plate to empty.
My Austin-inspired queso, made creamy with blended cashews instead of cheese. Set it out with a big bowl of chips and nobody will guess it’s dairy-free.
Raw cashews, buffalo sauce, and shredded chicken blend into a creamy, spicy dip in under 30 minutes. It’s what I bring when the coffee table needs something warm and scoopable.
Bell peppers, sweet onion, and jalapeño whirled together in the food processor in about 15 minutes. Not your standard tomato salsa, which is exactly why it disappears first.
Charred and raw corn together with tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, and lime — eight ingredients, tons of flavor. Scoop it with tortilla chips or spoon it over anything taco-adjacent.
Two football-food favorites in one: chicken tenders with taco seasoning baked right in. Dairy-free, grain-free, egg-free, and easy to make ahead before kickoff.
Gluten-free flour plus cornflakes gives these tenders a seriously crackly crust. One of the most-made recipes on the blog and perfect finger food for a crowd.
If you want more meat per bite than a wing, drumsticks are the move. A sticky tamari-honey marinade bakes right into the chicken until it’s fall-apart tender.
A homemade BBQ rub and a sweet, tangy peach barbecue sauce make these drumsticks feel like an event. Make a double batch of the rub while you’re at it.
Boiled with lemon and garlic, then smashed and roasted until the edges shatter. The lemony chive sauce tastes like sour cream and onion, minus the dairy.
Smoky chili-lime shrimp seared in under five minutes, then piled into tortillas with guacamole and corn salsa. One of my first viral recipes for a reason.
Refried beans, guacamole, and seasoned shrimp on a crispy corn tortilla — an open-faced taco with more room for toppings. Easy to set up as a build-your-own bar.
Marinated chicken grilled on skewers and tucked into gluten-free rolls with caramelized onions. The marinade happens the day before, so game day is easy.
Chuck roast braises in a chili-spiced birria sauce while the oven does the work. Put out the consommé for dipping and the spread feels like an occasion.
Ground turkey, beans, bone broth, and pumpkin puree go into the crockpot and take care of themselves. For the days you’d rather watch the game than cook.
Butter beans simmered with crushed tomatoes and coconut cream, topped with smoky bacon. One pot, under 30 minutes, and very good with a slab of cornbread.
