Tart Cherry Adrenal Mocktail - Olivia Adriance

For all my friends in their self-proclaimed “wellness era,” this beverage recipe is for you! I’ve combined two viral drinks that took social media by storm: tart cherry juice and adrenal mocktails. 

This Tart Cherry Adrenal Mocktail helps replenish essential vitamins and minerals that your body needs to thrive! 

Tart cherry juice improves sleep quality, boosts the immune system, and lessens muscle soreness and fatigue.

Adrenal mocktails are said to help mainly with stress and fatigue. The most basic recipe includes orange juice, coconut water, and salt. This tasty blend provides a boost of vitamin C, potassium, and magnesium. 

Of course, I add collagen to my recipe for an added boost of protein.

Five simple ingredients are all you need for this viral-worthy mocktail recipe. 

  • Tart Cherry Juice: Tart is key here! Tart cherry juice boasts more nutrients and vitamin C than traditional cherry juice. Make sure you’re buying plain tart cherry juice and not a concentrate filled with added sugars. 
  • Orange Juice: Full of vitamin C, orange juice gives you a boost of energy from the simple carbohydrates. 
  • Collagen: I used @greatlakeswellness collagen for this recipe. This protein source is great for the skin, hair, joints, and nails too.

  • Honey: Add more or less, depending on how sweet you like it.  
  • Mineral-Rich Salt: Your body needs sodium in order to support the adrenal glands and kidneys. Adding salt to warm water or a beverage like this mocktail will keep you hydrated. Pink Himalayan salt is a good choice here. 
  • Orange Garnish: Totally optional, but a slice of orange will liven up your mocktail! 

How to Make Tart Cherry Adrenal Mocktail

You’re two minutes away from your new favorite mocktail! 

Add the tart cherry juice, collagen, honey, and salt to a glass. Whisk or stir to combine.

Add some ice and top with orange juice. Garnish with a slice of orange. Sip and enjoy!

  • 8 ounces tart cherry juice
  • 4 ounces orange juice
  • 1 scoop collagen powder (I used Great Lakes Wellness)
  • ½ – 1 teaspoon honey (depending on how sweet you like it)
  • Pinch of mineral-rich salt
  • Slice of orange, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Whisk or stir to combine.
